Job Description

:

Help to analyse existing products to identify areas for improvement regarding taste, quality, cost, or shelf life. Conduct laboratory and pilot-scale trials to test product feasibility and optimize recipes. Assist to implement changes to existing products based on data analysis and feedback. Conducting research on new materials, technologies, and ingredients to improve existing product functionality. Creating prototypes and testing them through rigorous quality control procedures. Working closely with related teams to translate production/market needs into product concepts and assist to implement changes and monitor their impact on product quality and performance. Collaborating with production teams to ensure smooth transition from R&D to manufacturing/commercialization Engaging with external partners like research institutions and raw material/machine suppliers Perform sensory evaluations to assess taste, texture, and overall acceptability Analysing data from research experiments and preparing detailed reports Ensuring all research and development activities adhere to relevant regulatory standards and quality control procedures; Implement changes and monitor their impact on product quality and performance. Maintaining detailed documentation of research findings, test results, and product specifications
Requirement:

Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Engineering or related field Strong understanding of research methodologies and experimental design, project management skills and/or time management skills will be added advantages Experience with food processing techniques and equipment relevant to the food industry Knowledge of product commercialization in the market Good analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication skills to effectively present research findings and collaborate with stakeholders, fluent in Malays and English, other language is added advantages.

Pay: RM3,200.00 - RM4,200.00 per month
