QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCES

Minimum: SPM / STPM / O-Level or equivalent. Preferred: Diploma or Degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Quality Assurance, or related field 1-3 years of working experience in quality control or quality assurance (preferably in food or manufacturing industry). Fresh graduates may be considered for junior roles. Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000, or FSSC 22000. Understanding of basic lab testing procedures and quality inspection methods. Familiar with using measuring tools, test kits, and basic lab equipment. Strong observation skills and attention to detail. Computer literate (e.g., Microsoft Excel, QC systems/software) Able to read and interpret specifications, SOPs, and reports. Good communication and reporting skills. Responsible, independent, and honest. Able to work in shift or under pressure if needed.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS

Quality Inspection & Testing:

+ Inspect raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods based on quality specifications
+ Conduct physical, chemical, or microbiological tests (depending on product type)
+ Monitor product parameters (e.g., temperature, texture, appearance, weight, moisture content)

Documentation & Reporting:

+ Record inspection results accurately in QC checklists, forms, and systems
+ Report non-conformities, deviations, or out-of-spec results to the Quality Supervisor/Manager
+ Assist in preparing quality reports for audits or management review

Compliance Monitoring:

+ Ensure production follows GMP, HACCP, and company SOPs
+ Conduct hygiene and cleanliness inspections in production areas
+ Participate in internal audits or regulatory inspections as needed

Product Release & Rejection:

+ Approve or reject materials and finished goods based on inspection results
+ Label and segregate non-conforming items for further action

Continuous Improvement:

+ Provide feedback to production teams on quality issues
+ Assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions
+ Support quality improvement projects or new product trials
