• It is the objective of the Quality Control team to perform all duties required to protect the company against potential risks and defective product.
• It is expected of all QC members to be diligent, careful, details-oriented, and thorough.
• Customers maintain high expectations and the company are able to meet such standards.
• Company are above other competitors in this field due to the information and knowledge equipped regarding production and manufacturers.
• The QC team conducts on-site inspections where, not only, on products are being inspected, but also the factory itself.
• These site visits are important because QC member presence keeps the manufacturers partner honesty and integrity.
• Preferred University graduate.
• Must have good English communication in writing and reading, spoken and listening capability.
• Mandarin speaking is a must.
• 3 years working experience (preferred) in the paper or plastic packaging factory.
• QA experience in food service packaging industry is preferred with PSI protocol setup and factory audit experiences.
• Familiar with 8D report and root cause analysis.
• Capable of coaching suppliers for continuous improvement.
• Willing to travel and conduct quality inspections in factories across Malaysia.
• Complete and upload inspection reports and photos.
• Willing to accept home-base working mode.
• Off-site inspections - reviewing production samples which are sent by factory for orders that we aren\'t able to make site visit.
• Production samples review and filing.
• Follow-up on failed inspections and confirm with factory that issues have been corrected and these won\'t occur again.
• Communicate with supplier and production management team internally, keeping all responsible parties informed.
• Self-motivated for job and time management.
• Support company\'s quality operations in South East Asia region.
• High integrity is a must.
