Job Title: QC Engineer

Our client is a Singapore based, leading provider of advanced sealing solutions for industrial applications, committed to delivering high-quality products that meet stringent industry standards and exceed customer expectations.

Job Summary

The QC Engineer will be responsible for implementing and maintaining quality control processes to ensure that products meet specifications, standards, and customer requirements. This role involves hands-on inspection, testing, documentation, and coordination with production and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct inspections and testing of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards. Develop, implement, and maintain QC procedures, work instructions, and inspection plans. Prepare and maintain inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCR), and quality records. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with ISO and customer requirements. Calibrate and maintain measuring instruments, gauges, and testing equipment. Provide training and guidance to operators and technicians on quality standards and procedures. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce defects.

Requirements

Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field. At least 2-3 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance within manufacturing (preferably in sealing solutions, precision engineering, or related industries). Strong knowledge of QC tools, measurement techniques, and problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, root cause analysis, SPC). Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and quality management system. Proficient in using measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine). Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive with good communication and teamwork skills.

Pay: Up to RM5,500.00 per month
