Job Vacancy: Quality Control Manager

CAT Environmental Protection Technology Sdn Bhd

is a leader in providing sustainable and high-technology environmental solutions. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to lead our Quality Control department and ensure our products and processes meet the highest national and international standards.

Position:

Quality Control Manager

Location:

22,Jalan Kundang Jaya 1 Kawasan Perindustrian Kundang, Kampung Baru Kundang, 48020 Rawang, Selangor

Salary:

RM 8,000 per month (Base Salary)

Key Responsibilities:

QMS Implementation & Maintenance:

Develop, implement, manage, and continuously improve the company's Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with required standards.

Standards Compliance:

Ensure all products, processes, and documentation strictly adhere to national and international quality and regulatory standards, including the core requirements of

ISO 9001:2015

(Quality Management System) and

ISO 14001

(Environmental Management System).

Automotive Quality (if applicable):

Oversee compliance with

IATF 16949

quality standards for relevant products, including conducting internal audits and driving core tools (APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, FMEA) implementation.

Auditing & Reporting:

Plan and lead internal and external quality audits. Manage the Non-Conformity Report (NCR) system, corrective actions (CA), and preventive actions (PA) to drive root cause analysis and resolution.

Process Control:

Monitor and control all production and service processes to identify defects, deviations, and opportunities for quality improvement and waste reduction.

Team Leadership:

Train, supervise, and mentor the Quality Control (QC) team to ensure all staff are proficient in quality standards and inspection methodologies.

Documentation:

Maintain comprehensive and accurate quality records, control plans, inspection procedures, and statistical process control (SPC) data.

Working Details:

Workdays:

5-day work week (Monday to Friday, generally).

Work Hours:

8:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Lunch Break:

1 hour

Flexibility:

Must be willing to work on

weekends and public holidays

when required by project deadlines, audits, or urgent quality issues (compensated as per Malaysian labor law).

Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or equivalent) or Quality Management.

Experience:

Minimum of

5 years of experience

in Quality Control/Assurance Management, preferably in a manufacturing, engineering, or environmental technology environment.

Certifications:

Certified Internal or Lead Auditor for

ISO 9001:2015

is mandatory. Strong knowledge of and experience with

ISO 14001

(Environmental Management System) is highly desirable. Familiarity with or experience in implementing

IATF 16949

(Automotive QMS) is a significant advantage.

Technical Skills:

Proficient in quality methodologies such as Statistical Process Control (SPC), Root Cause Analysis, 8D Methodology, and Continuous Improvement tools (e.g., Six Sigma).

Soft Skills:

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Language:

Proficient in English (written and spoken).
