Conduct daily inspection of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with product specifications.
Perform sampling, sensory checks, and physical/chemical tests according to established quality standards.
Record and report any non-conformities or deviations to the QA Executive/Operations Director for corrective action.
2. Process Control and Verification
Monitor critical control points (CCPs) and ensure production activities comply with HACCP, GMP, and food safety procedures.
Verify that sanitation, temperature control, and hygiene practices are properly maintained during production.
Assist in monitoring packaging, labeling, and storage conditions to ensure product integrity.
3. Documentation and Reporting
Maintain accurate QC inspection records, checklists, and reports for traceability purposes.
Prepare daily QC summaries and report to QA or Operations management on quality status and findings.
Assist in maintaining product retain samples and related documentation.
4. Corrective and Preventive Actions
Support the QA team in identifying root causes of quality issues and implementing corrective actions.
Follow up to ensure corrective measures are effectively executed and documented.
5. Equipment and Lab Maintenance
Ensure measuring instruments and testing equipment are properly maintained, calibrated, and used according to SOPs.
Keep QC laboratory and inspection areas clean, safe, and organized.
6. Coordination and Communication
Work closely with Production, Maintenance, and QA teams to resolve quality-related issues promptly.
Assist in training production staff on basic quality and hygiene awareness when required.
Qualifications:
Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or related field.
Minimum 1-3 years of experience in quality control, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
Familiar with HACCP, GMP, and basic food safety standards.
Good observation skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer skills for data recording and reporting.
Willing to work on shifts if required.
