A

Quality Control

ensures the efficiency and effectiveness of the supply chain by performing inspections, documentation, and organization tasks. Key responsibilities include:

Inspecting output samples using industry methods (e.g., comparing standards, measuring dimensions, checking functionality). Ensuring production processes meet standards, procedures, and legal requirements. Monitoring production teams on quality control practices to improve product quality. Proposing process improvements for better product outcomes. Ensuring equipment safety and discarding non-compliant items. Keeping knowledge updated through training and education. Maintaining accurate calibration of measurement equipment and requesting repairs when necessary. Collecting and analyzing quality data. Investigating causes of defects and rework. Verifying correct equipment calibration.
