Key Responsibilities:

\xc2\xb7 Establish and maintain strong relationships with the customer\'s quality team to understand their quality standards, expectations, and specific requirements.

\xc2\xb7 Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive quality assurance plan tailored to the customer\'s requirements.

\xc2\xb7 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality assurance processes into the overall project plan.

\xc2\xb7 Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to ensure compliance with established quality standards.

\xc2\xb7 Work closely with the customer to address any non-conformities and implement corrective and preventive actions.

\xc2\xb7 Investigate and analyse product quality issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.

\xc2\xb7 Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain, to address quality concerns, implement corrective actions, and drive quality improvements.

\xc2\xb7 Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement at supplier sites.

\xc2\xb7 Generate regular quality reports for internal and external stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators, trends, and areas for improvement.

\xc2\xb7 Communicate effectively with the customer and suppliers on quality-related matters.

\xc2\xb7 Collaborate with suppliers to ensure they meet the quality standards required by the customer.

\xc2\xb7 Conduct supplier audits and work with suppliers to address quality issues.

\xc2\xb7 Provide training to internal teams and suppliers on quality standards, processes, and best practices.

\xc2\xb7 Create training materials for the general and process specific qualification of supplier personnel.

Qualifications and Skills:

\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering or any related field.

\xc2\xb7 At least 5 years proven experience as a Quality Engineer.

\xc2\xb7 In-depth knowledge of quality management systems and methodologies.

\xc2\xb7 Familiarity with relevant JIS, ANSI, ISO or equivalent quality standards and regulations.

\xc2\xb7 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

\xc2\xb7 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a customer-focused environment.

\xc2\xb7 Able to read and understand technical drawings and recognize standard GD&T symbols.

\xc2\xb7 Understanding of manufacturing processes (CNC fabrication, welding, casting, etc) will be an advantage.

\xc2\xb7 Japanese speaker (verbal and written communication skills) will be an advantage. Additional language allowance is applicable.
