Job summary:
The Quality Engineer will be responsible to plan, implement and maintain quality system that drives all activities pertaining to the quality of the product.
Provide technical know-how and product development process to meet customer requirements that will range from planning and setting standards of technical competency of the product, research, testing of new product performance & improving product efficiency/cost for minimum errors and waste.

Job description:
Effective management of quality system.
Monitor and report performances of key suppliers. Generate and present reports on monthly basis.
Define product requirements by establishing and maintaining technical protocols.
Effective management of non-conformance material & products: identification, documentation, evaluation & disposition.
Facilitate new supplier selection process and/or product development by coordinating trial run and evaluating trial results.
Quality Assurance & Technical services
Initiate and review claims with suppliers on non-conformance material.
Complaint investigation and customer support
Technical teach & product training.
Oversee marine insurance claim process.
To carry out duties as and when directed by the management.

Job requirements:
Possess a Degree in Metallurgy, Material Science, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 3 years working experience in heavy industries or in continuous process environment either production, process or related functions.
Able to lead and develop people.
High commitment to Occupational Health, Safety & Environment.
Practical knowledge in Business System.
