Quality Engineer/manager

Job Description
We are looking for a Quality Engineer/Manager with strong experience in quality checks for finished steel products. This role involves managing the entire quality process, including raw material, in-process, and outgoing inspections. You will coordinate with suppliers and local quality teams, reporting to HQ Manager and focusing on ensuring compliance with industry standards.Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee quality inspections for steel products, ensuring compliance with required standards.
- Coordinate with international and local suppliers and QC teams to address quality issues and ensure smooth production.
- Conduct root cause analysis on quality issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare and approve quality documentation, ensuring quick resolution of any quality-related delays.
- Implement product and process audits, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve quality processes and reduce risks.
- Train inspectors and teams on quality standards and practices.
- Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering with 5+ years of experience in QA/QC, particularly in the steel/structural industry.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards like ASTM, SPC, 8D, and FMEA.
- Experience with sheet metal working, assembly, and galvanization is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills with a strong focus on process improvement.
