The role:

  • Quality Management Systems: Developing, implementing, and maintaining robust quality management systems to meet industry standards and regulations. This includes establishing quality policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Process Improvement: Identifying areas for process improvement and implementing measures to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize workflows. This involves conducting process audits, analyzing data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement improvement initiatives.
  • Quality Assurance: Defining and enforcing quality assurance standards throughout the organization. This includes creating quality control plans, conducting inspections and audits, and monitoring adherence to quality requirements.
  • Training and Education: Providing training and guidance to employees on quality management principles, process control methodologies, and quality tools. This ensures a common understanding of quality standards and encourages a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Compliance and Audits: Ensuring compliance with relevant quality standards, regulations, and customer requirements. Coordinating internal and external audits, addressing audit findings, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborating with various stakeholders, including cross functional teams, suppliers, and customers, to understand their quality expectations, address concerns, and build strong relationships.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Previous experience in quality management, process improvement, or related roles is typically required. The level of experience may vary depending on the organization, but candidates with at least 5 - 7 years of experience in quality management or process improvement are often preferred.
  • Proficiency in process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen. Candidates should have a track record of successfully leading process improvement initiatives and driving measurable result.
  • Ability to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and customers. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate, influence, and build partnerships.
