A leading food and beverage manufacturing company that is well known to individuals all over this region is looking for an Operational Excellence Manager to improve production processes and documentation while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. In this job, you will report directly to the Operations Vice President.

About the Operational Excellence Manager Role:
In this position, you will take the leadership role in providing strategic support in the development, deployment, and management of strategic initiatives to develop and enhance the operation effectiveness of the plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the systematic management of plant operations and corporate in order to provide a centralised source of critical information for related management executives to drive lean, process improvement, efficiency and profitability
• Ensure that the production process is efficient, cost-effective, and produces high-quality products within the specified timeframe
• Facilitate continuous improvement projects and provide consultation expertise for all the departments
• Continuously improve production data and management reports from SAP system and proactively identify areas for improvement

To be successful in the Operational Excellence Manager job, you will need to have a minimum of 10 years of work experience in project management, lean and continuous improvement roles, spray dryer experience is an advantage.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in science and technology or a related field of study
• Minimum of 15 years\' work experience in the food manufacturing environment and at least eight years in continuous improvement or lean manufacturing
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies, i.e., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, TPM
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style
• Open to direction and collaborative work style and commitment to get the job done
• Updated knowledge on business and organisation management insights, trends, and best practices
• Strong people management skills
