• Bosch has been present in Malaysia since 1923, represented by Robert Bosch Sdn Bhd, with offices located in Selangor and Penang. In Malaysia, Bosch has diversified businesses in Mobility Solutions, Industrial Technology, Consumer Goods, and Energy and Building Technology. The company has three manufacturing plants in Penang providing Car Multimedia, Power Tools and Automotive Steering systems. In 2017, Malaysia contributed sales of RM 615 million (127 million euro) and employed more than 2,800 associates.

• Responsible for incoming inspection. All incoming lot must be cleared as much as possible daily to make sure no line down due to pending inspection.
• Interface with PUQ on part quality issue found during incoming inspection.
• Provide measurement support, analysis & measurement report when required.
• To ensure all measuring equipment are calibrated before use.
• Support MSA. ISIR or measurement support activities when required.
• To prepare, operate and maintain laboratory equipment for measuring and testing.
• Maintain good 7S at workplace & QMM8 laboratory.
• Any specific task assigned by the superior, as and when necessary to meet target or deadline.
• Perform incoming inspection according to inspection plan. Monitor closely on open lot status & release the lot on same day.
• Provide measurement support on measurement request from QMM & other department when required. Ensure committed date to internal customer is followed.
• Support MSA activities when required for the measuring equipment in QMM8 laboratory and production floor.
• To ensure the laboratory is well maintained, calibrated in defined frequency and in peefect working condition, particularly equipment used in daily quality control or inspection.
• To ensure good 7S at workplace at QMM8 laboratory.
• Perform self life expire component re-buyoff.

• Formal Education- Certificate/ Diploma in mechanical / Electronics Engineering discipline from recognized institution / college or professional institution
• Able to use measuring equipment (eg: CMM, Vision System, hardness tester, roughness tester, roundness tester, tensile strength machine, micrometer, profile projector, multi-meter & etc) as well as metrology, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
• Able to interpret & understand the technical drawing & measurement requirement.
• Able to understand product inspection plan and product test plan.
• Able to use GIS to check drawing and ANDI.
• Able to use BGN to check for SOP.
• Posses quality knowledge such at 7 QC tools.
• Well versed in using standard PC software.
• Ability to interpret data and propose for alternative solution

• Ability to manage personnel time to ensure the success of completion of assignments.
• Ability to perform multitasking according to priority & keep to a tight schedule.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision & self-motivation.
• Possess good analytical & communication skills.
• Possess good skill in technical report writing.
