Job Description

We are a dynamic and fast-growing Building Development Company based in Kota Kinabalu, specialising in high-rise residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. We are seeking a competent, detail-oriented, and proactive Quantity Surveyor / Contract Manager to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, evaluate, and manage cost estimates, tender documents, and contract terms. Perform cost control, budgeting, and project financial forecasting. Handle progress claims, interim valuations, variation orders, and final accounts. Liaise with consultants, contractors, and suppliers for contract and procurement matters. Oversee pre-contract and post-contract administration for development projects. Ensure compliance with CIDB, PAM, and JKR standard forms of contract. Prepare contract reports and attend site meetings as needed. Mitigate risks related to cost, contract disputes, and claims.
Qualifications & Experience:

Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in Quantity Surveying or Contract Management in building construction or property development. Strong knowledge of pre-contract and post-contract processes, cost management, and procurement strategies. Familiarity with local regulations and authorities. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, and Quantity Surveying Softwares. Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills. Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks.
