Work Experience Minimum 3-5 years of relevant working experience in construction, interior design, or related industries. Experience in preparing invoices, project Statements of Account (SOA), quotations, Bills of Quantities (BQ), tender documents, and project costing. Prior experience dealing with CIDB, MOF, and government or vendor portals is an added advantage. Technical Skills Strong knowledge of construction measurement, material take-off, cost estimation, and project cost control. Proficient in preparing progress claims, interim valuations, and final accounts. Ability to evaluate subcontractor claims, quotations, variations, and cost adjustments. Familiar with tender processes, documentation requirements, and deadline management. Competent in Microsoft Excel and Word; knowledge of accounting software is an added advantage. Basic understanding of accounting entries, petty cash management, and invoice preparation. Soft Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail. Good negotiation skills when dealing with suppliers and subcontractors. Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects or tenders simultaneously. Strong sense of responsibility and ability to meet tight deadlines. Other Requirements Possess own transport and willing to travel for site measurements and project visits. Able to work independently as well as collaboratively with the project and site teams. Prepare and issue sales invoices promptly based on approved sales orders.
Prepare, update, and maintain Project Statement of Account (SOA) on a weekly/monthly basis.
Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments to creditors and clients.
Record all drivers' petty cash disbursements and receipts accurately in the cash book.
Assist in the preparation and compilation of tender documents according to tender requirements.
Monitor tender submission deadlines and ensure timely submission.
Assist in registering vendors for the company with relevant platforms or portals.
Assist in preparing loan or grant application documents based on company or project requirements.
Prepare and submit CIDB renewal applications for the company and/or employees.
Ensure timely renewal of MOF registration for the company.
Prepare cost estimates, quotations, and Bills of Quantities (BQ) for construction projects.
Perform project cost control, including monitoring budget vs. actual costs.
Prepare progress claims, interim valuations, and final accounts.
Evaluate contractor/subcontractor claims, quotations, and variations.
Conduct site measurements and verify completed works.
Prepare material take-off and assist in sourcing suppliers and negotiating pricing.
Review tender drawings, specifications, and project requirements to ensure accurate costing.
Assist in project documentation, contract administration, and compliance with construction standards.
Work closely with the site team to monitor project progress and cost impact.
