RTR Associate is responsible for financial reporting, prepare and analyze statements, playing a key role in month-end and year-end closing. Duties include recording journal entries, reconciling various accounts, and investigating discrepancies. Staying current with accounting regulations, they assist in audits. Process improvement involves identifying and implementing enhancements in the record to report cycle. Collaboration with other departments is essential for issue resolution and effective communication of financial information.

What will you be doing?
RTR Associate plays a crucial role in the finance department, specifically in the context of financial reporting and accounting processes. Here\'s a brief overview of the responsibilities:
Reconciliation Expertise:

• 
  Proficient in monthly intercompany and general ledger reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• 
  Expertise in bank statement reconciliations and meticulous balance sheet reconciliations.

Financial Reporting and Compliance:

• 
  Prepares and posts month-end close journals, contributing to accurate financial reporting.
• 
  Manages statutory reporting and validation, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.

Ad-Hoc Projects and Specialized Transactions:

• 
  Supports Team Lead and Sr Associate on ad-hoc projects, showcasing flexibility and initiative.
• 
  Handles Transfer Pricing transactions and VMDM for Greater China, demonstrating expertise in specialized financial areas.

Success in the role will requires a combination of technical knowledge, soft skills, and a deep understanding of both the business and service-providing sides of an organization.
Successful candidates would need the following:

• 
  Candidates with fresh perspectives or prior experience in Record to Report processes are encouraged to apply.
• 
  Ideally, candidates should have 0-2 years of experience in General Accounting (GA) or Financial & Accounting (F&A) reporting.
• 
  Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must.
• 
  We are seeking candidates with proficiency in Mandarin due to the markets we serve.
