The key roles and responsibilities are as follows:
Financial Accounting Business Process Standardization (BPS) in the Region
To drive standardization of finance related business processes in the Region.
To perform current assessment and develop Regional Standard Processes (R2R) practices for the Region.
To drive collaboration with Corporate Finance, IM and other related parties in establishing standard processes.
To prepare for documentation of process standardization activities.
Implementation of OpCo BPO Project
To establish standard accounting processes in OpCo BPO Project
To investigate OpCo current state processes, develop standard \xe2\x80\x9cto be processes,\xe2\x80\x9d evaluates gaps, and implement countermeasures.
To drive OpCo process transfer to vendor
BPO Quality Monitoring
To design monitoring processes with specific KPIs to evaluate quality of BPO Vendor
To continuously monitor and develop improvement measures for BPO Vendor in case there are any gaps in accounting processes.
To prepare for documentation of KPI monitoring of BPO work.
To oversee entire BPO initiatives at relevant Opcos, including R2R and O2C areas.
Financial Accounting Process Support in New ERP Project
To drive financial accounting process development in New ERP project.
To identify current OpCo financial accounting process issues, analyse root causes, proactively propose countermeasures, and develop accounting standard processes for new ERP.
After new ERP go-live at OpCos, to monitor if OpCos follow standard accounting processes, and in case notable gaps are found, initiate corrective measures.
To prepare for documentation of finance process standardization in New ERP project.
Accounting process improvement of Singapore Regional HQ
To initiate and drive financial accounting process standardization of Singapore Regional HQ.
To investigate past accounting transactions and to analyse gaps to streamline closing processes.
To support Regional HQ Operation Team in specific closing activities, when necessary.
Others
To drive various finance related projects, with working with relevant parties.
To support semi-annual cut-off testing of OpCos
To perform well for this role, you will be required to possess the following skills and competencies:
Degree in Accountancy with more than 8 years of finance related experience
Qualified Accountant with good knowledge of accounting standards (US GAAP, IFRS)
Good knowledge and hands-on experience in process and system improvements in finance operations
Good project management skills
Strong communicator and robust stakeholder management skills
Ability to independently drive process and system improvement initiatives
Ability to handle stress in a rapidly changing environment
