What this means for you is the opportunity to be a part of delivering innovative solutions and helping to solve real business problems for a wide variety of valued clients.Supervise and manage the General Accounting and Reporting team in delivering services in accordance with established processes and work proceduresEnsure that the General Accounting and Reporting services are delivered within the agreed service levelsAssist to establish policies, procedures and controls.Manage the service transition of the General Accounting and Reporting function from the Business Divisions.Lead and manage the implementation of Continuous Improvement initiatives on a timely basis and within budget.Monitor and manage the productivity of the resources and team performance in accordance to the set Key Performance Indicators (KPI)The Successful ApplicantA recognized Degree in Accounting or professional qualificationMember of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (preferred)More than 3 years\' experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory position, preferably in a global shared service environmentExposure in a large and reputable audit firm would be an added advantageExtensive in SAP and/or other ERP systems accounting transactions.Has applied skills in various industries.Extensive and in-depth knowledge and understanding in General Accounting and Reporting functions.Has applied knowledge and experience in complex working environment.Moderate exposure in other accounting functions i.e. Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.Ability to lead and manage a teamOur culture and benefits: DXC is committed to building better futures for our customers, colleagues, environment, and communities.
