Responsibilities

• The inspection work shall cover Radiographic Interpretation Inspection activities carried out by the COMPANY or OTHER CONTRACTOR appointed by the COMPANY, either on COMPANY facilities or at OTHER CONTRACTOR yards and workshops.
• To act as Radiographic Interpreter Inspector; relevant to the scope of work assigned to the inspector.
• To coordinate and identify radiographic work requirement for any particular task and verifying the interpretation of radiographic films.
• To perform, witness and review all other necessary inspections, tests, checks and reviews required to meet the COMPANY Quality Control and Quality Assurance objectives.
• To prepare, compile and submit to COMPANY Representative the inspection reports including NDE, repair and modification report and procedure. The report shall include the type of inspection carried out, inspection result or findings, type and extent of repair required/made and recommendation for each and every inspection.
• Findings of any discontinuity and/or defect shall be made known immediately to the COMPANY Representative indicating the type, size, orientation, location of discontinuities and/or defect(s) found, type of inspection carried out, etc.
• To attend meeting or discussion with COMPANY personnel which may be deemed necessary for any clarification etc.
• Report any non-conformances and deviations immediately to COMPANY Representative.
• Participation of vendor / source inspection / or visit, as required or determined by the COMPANY.
• Ensure compliance of COMPANY HSE Management Systems.
• To perform any task(s) deemed necessary by the COMPANY and within the ambit of Contract.

Qualifications

• Valid Radiographic Interpreter certificates
• Minimum 5-years of working experience in inspection
• Candidate based at Sarawak would be an advantage

Additional information

• Open to freelancer as the job requires to work upon on-call basis; 2-3 days/ week
