Job Overview The R&D Assistant will work closely with the R&D Manager and other team members to support research and development activities in the food and beverage industry. The role will involve assisting with the development of new products and processes, conducting research and analysis, and helping to maintain and update testing kitchen equipment and facilities. Responsibilities and Duties: \xef\x82\xb7 Conduct research and analysis to support product development activities, including literature reviews, ingredient sourcing, and product testing. \xef\x82\xb7 Assist with the formulation and optimization of new products, including recipe development, product testing, and sensory evaluation. \xef\x82\xb7 To maintain and update testing kitchen equipment and facilities, including ordering supplies, cleaning equipment, and performing routine maintenance and calibration. \xef\x82\xb7 Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, production, and quality assurance, to ensure that new products meet customer needs and are aligned with company objectives. \xef\x82\xb7 Maintain accurate records of research and development activities, including experimental data, test results, and formulation information. \xef\x82\xb7 Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new product developments, and provide insights and recommendations to the R&D team. Job Requirements: \xef\x82\xb7 Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in food science, chemistry, or related field. \xef\x82\xb7 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. \xef\x82\xb7 Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. \xef\x82\xb7 Ability to work independently and as part of a team. \xef\x82\xb7 Strong written and verbal communication skills. \xef\x82\xb7 Computer literate, knowledge in Ms. Excel, Word and PowerPoint. \xef\x82\xb7 Experience with food and beverage product development is preferred, but not required. \xef\x82\xb7 Experience with basic cooking skill and knowledge is required. \xef\x82\xb7 Highly organize, independent and able to manage multiple responsibilities without close supervision.
