Job Description

Rigorously study, research, analyze relevant international, national and industry test standards Deconstruct and interpret the requirements of complex standards to determine their direct applicability to our products and testing protocols. Assess the workability and practicality of applying new or revised standards to our current testing capabilities and product design. Develop or update internal test procedures to ensure full compliance with the mandated standards. Track project timelines, identify risks and report on key milestones. Intensive communication with factory and act as the primary technical liaison with suppliers, driving the project from kick-off to mass production. Communicate effectively with crossing departments or divisions regarding test results, compliance issues and necessary product modifications to ensure a smooth and successful product development and product launch. Coordinate the preparation and arrangement of all required test samples and prototypes in a timely manner. Develop and validate appropriate test jigs, fixtures and setups required for accurate product testing. Execute a variety of product tests (e.g., functional, performance, durability, environmental) Document and record all test data, observations and results accurately and meticulously. Identify, troubleshoot and report any failures, anomalies or deviations during the testing process. Perform routine calibration checks on testing equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results. Manage and implement changes to a product's design, components or manufacturing procedures after its launch. Failure Analysis and Root Cause Verification.
Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing / Mechatronics / Electronics. Minimum 1 - 3 years working experience in R&D / Product Development / New Product Development. New product research and development skills. Strong understanding of product testing and have a foundation of testing standard. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and root cause analysis skills. Excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skill. Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required. Experience in home appliance or consumer electronics products development would be a distinct advantage.
