Have you always aspired to work in the realm of chemistry? Join allnex in this exciting internship opportunity, where you will collaborate closely with our team of chemists and immerse yourself in the world of chemical innovation!
Responsibilities:

• Carry out the R&D lab resin cooking
  • Prepare the raw material, set up and carry out the cooking
  • Check and monitor cooking parameters
  • Perform filtration for customer samples & paint application product
• Provide proper point data (reduction graph/cut-off point) for R&D Chemist.
• Complete and proper recording of laboratory resin cooking report (resin analysis, graph, and chart).
• Carry out resin analysis on resin compatibility, resin dilatability, viscosity reduction data, and specific gravity.
• Responsible for the maintenance and proper handling of lab cook glass wares and instruments (dosing pump, temperature controller, etc.).
• Maintain cleanliness by washing lab cooking glassware.
• Responsible for the upkeeping of the R&D Store.
• Assist in product troubleshooting by performing lab cooking for the chemist to determine the root cause, and provide suggestions where possible.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree or a diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Applied Science, or any other related field of study.
• Available for a minimum of 6 months during the internship period, with a preference for a 1-year commitment.
• Strong technical and analytical attributes.
• Good teamwork and cooperation.
• Curious about the chemical industry and has a genuine interest in a career in chemicals.
• Meticulous and comfortable with working in a chemical lab.
