Job Description
Logistics analysts streamline product manufacturing, transportation, storage and distribution. They assess production and supply chain problems to determine economically efficient solutions. They assists company managers in decision-making processes and direct programs designed to provide subcontractors, managers and customers with logistic technology. Match shipments to their associated purchase orders and enter receiving data on paperwork Record receiving data in company databases Prepare and organize received stock for inventory Return damaged products to senders Monitor inventory levels Data entry and computer skills Forklift certification is beneficial for unloading large shipments Ability to work on feet for long hours
