Join Roche, where every voice matters.The PositionThe OpportunityCo-ordinate and execute month end, quarter end and year end closing activities to ensure timely and accurate closure of accounts in compliance with work instructions and month end close checklistPreparation of accounting journals and ensure it is prepared accurately and posted timely. Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliation, highlight and rectify any anomalies encountered, including clearing of open itemsSubmission of monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting packages accurately and within specified timescale (eg: FinCo, Sustainability, Insurance, etc)Support internal and external audit matters by ensuring timely submission of required audit schedules and providing financial supporting documents and information to auditorsSupport tax matters by preparing tax schedules, providing financial supporting documents and information to tax consultantPerform back up function and other duties, including job rotation to other functional teams as and when requiredControl Financial Reporting (ICFR), group policies and guidelines, local statutory and legal requirements within agreed service timelinesEngage and support the teams in the implementation of continuous improvement project. Proactively identify, recommend and implement solutions in consultation with the management for continuous improvement opportunities in the areas of operationWho You AreDegree in Finance & Accounting/Commerce or Equivalent graduate with minimum 3 to 4 years working experiences in the related fieldGood communication skills and able to communicate effectively in English and mandarin.SAP knowledge or other ERP accounting systems and MSExternal experience in a shared service or business process outsourcing engagement will be preferableWho we areAt Roche, more than 100,000 people across 100 countries are pushing back the frontiers of healthcare.
