Job Description


Responsibilities: Oversee and supervise the month-end close process with the Record to Report team, ensuring timely and accurate recording of financial transactions, journal entries, and reconciliations. Review and analyze general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards company policies, and SoX governance. Coordinate and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with established deadlines. Develop and maintain standardized accounting processes, procedures, and controls to optimize efficiency, minimize risk, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Collaborate with local finance teams, to support financial analysis, internal and external audit activities, and compliance initiatives. Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Record to Report function. Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance on accounting principles, technical issues, and best practices to team members and stakeholders. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track performance, identify trends, and implement corrective actions as needed to achieve service level agreements (SLAs) and performance targets. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the Record to Report team, promoting a positive work environment and professional growth opportunities. Requirements: Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA or equivalent professional certification preferred. More than 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles, with 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity. Strong understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and relevant accounting standards. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and financial consolidation tools proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software applications. Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret complex financial data. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs.
