A recreation assistant is responsible for assisting in the planning, coordination, and implementation of recreational activities and programs. - Assist in the planning and organization of recreational activities and programs.
- Set up and maintain equipment and supplies needed for recreational activities.
- Help in the supervision and guidance of participants during activities to ensure their safety and enjoyment.
- Engage with participants by facilitating games, sports, arts and crafts, or other recreational activities.
- Provide support and assistance to participants with special needs or specific requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized recreational area, including equipment storage and maintenance.
- Assist in promoting and advertising recreational programs to attract participants.
- Collect feedback from participants and communicate any concerns or suggestions to the recreation department.
- Follow and enforce safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a secure and risk-free environment.
