PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES Design and implement API management solutions using 3scale platform. Provide technical support to customers, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. Develop custom plugins, extensions and integrations with other systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive adoption and integration of APIs. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in API management technology. Provide training and guidance to customers on best practices for API management. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations for API security. Design, implement and manage OpenShift Container Platform environments. Develop and maintain containerized applications and microservices. Collaborate with development teams to drive adoption and integration of containerization. Design and implement messaging solutions using Red Hat AMQ. Develop and maintain messaging applications, APIs, and integrations with other systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive adoption and integration of messaging QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE : Academic Qualifications: Bachelor degree or higher qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology , Information Systems, Software Engineering or relevant professional qualification Experience: At least 3 years experience in, experience in successfully supporting Red Hat products and platform technologies administration and support. Knowledge: Experience with Red Hat 3scale or other API management platforms. Experience with Red Hat AMQ or other messaging platforms. Knowledge of messaging patterns, APIs, and cloud-based architectures. Knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices and cloud-based architectures. Experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform or other container platforms. Knowledge of container orchestration, microservices, and cloud-based architectures. Strong programming skills in languages such as Ruby, Java, Python, etc. Familiarity with security concepts and protocols such as OAuth, JWT, etc TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES Emerging Technology IT Systems and Technology Technical Architecture System Development CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTORS : Ability to understand the application business area and perform application support, software testing, software design & development, application integration, and project management in system development Good understanding of high availability design and concept, application security testing, windows desktop environment and cloud technology authentication and access control principle Proficiency in Red Hat ecosystem
