Expand Corporate, Commercial and Client Coverage businesses in the assigned region to expand GWB's regional coverage aim at penetrating and acquiring new customers, deepening relationship and share of wallet and cross selling of products to achieve profitability target on PBT and RAROC.
Coordinate and drive GWB's various business units in the region to develop and implement business development plans for the region, supporting Head, Commercial Banking, Head Group Corporate Banking and Head, Client Coverage in achieving division objectives and thereon, Group Wholesale Banking objectives at large.
Deliver holistic solution and excellent service to customers in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Build Client Relationship:
Lead, manage, develop and implement business development plans to grow GWB business in the region, supporting GWB SBG Heads in achieving division goals and objectives.
Build a wide client network, initiate prospects and assess opportunities across GWB customer segments covering Corporate, Commercial and Client Coverage customers.
Manage relationships with identified client groups in the region to secure Commercial, Corporate and Investment Banking deals in the region.
Familiar and keep abreast with corporate market development in the region by maintaining regular customer visitation/contacts.
Deliver excellent service standard and trouble shoot problems and complaints from customers.
Division's liaison officer for the assigned portfolio for all cross-sell contacts and external parties.
Cross sell various RHB products to corporate customers and cooperate with GWB product teams on deal execution
Operations and Compliance:
Manage and put in place department administration at the regional office.
Develop, review and improve procedures, policies, guidelines and work process to increase operational efficiency and reduce errors.
Ensure high standard of integrity and compliance of all legal and regulatory requirements.
Comply at all times with all relevant acts, laws, articles of associations, rules and regulations and ensure no adverse credit audit report.
Ensure, maintain and enforce a proper supervisory program and competent system of internal controls
People and Stakeholders Management:
Lead, coach and drive team members to improve performance and increase efficiency.
Manage and maintain good inter divisional relationship to assist in delivering end-to-end and good customer service.
Maintain strong engagement with key stakeholders i.e. Commercial Banking, Group Corporate Banking, Client Coverage, Investment Banking, Transaction Banking, Group Treasury and Global Markets, Group Asset Management
Requirements
Requirements: Bachelor Degree - Business, Accounting, Banking, Finance, Economics, Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or other related disciplines.
- . Certified Credit Professional (CCP)
Minimum of 10 years of experience in Financial Services at an established financial institution with exposure to credit risk management and commercial / corporate including credit processing, evaluation and appraisal
Understand the GWB's strategic objectives, business model and local commercial market landscape
Strong client facing & leadership skills with the capability to deliver high caliber client service function & solutions driven to support the Group's regional businesses
Able to influence & negotiate with good stakeholder management skills
Ability to deliver a change program whilst also managing an important, growing client facing 'run-the-bank' service
Experience of working in a highly-matrixed environment & accustomed to bridging the gap between disparate organisations
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build & maintain regional relationships at all business levels
Solid banking operational experience & analytical
Able to execute a challenging strategic vision and motivate people to achieve this.
