Job Description

Ensure balance sheet reconciliation each month in accordance with group policy, conducting quarterly balance sheet reviews with the Finance Director, and ensuring remediations are actioned in a timely manner Contribute to robust financial control frameworks that enhance cost control and improve income protection Ensure adherence to group standards and accounting policies Month-end close with Trial Balance All internal reporting, management packs, and supplementary reporting External reporting including group reporting, tax returns, statutory accounts, and audit support Delivery of commentary and analysis, ensuring all stakeholders understand the underlying performance of our business Accurate and reliable mid-month Support quarterly reforecast and annual budget cycles, engaging with business leaders and FP&A teams as required Provide ad-hoc support to Finance Director and FP&A, ensuring timely understanding of financial performance and position Respond at short notice to analytical requests and support business development activities across the region Build genuine partnerships across the business, providing both challenge and support to commercial thinking Contribute to the collaborative team environment focused on operational excellence and continuous improvement Take ownership of finance processes, ensuring optimization Take responsibility for your deliverables

Requirements

Qualified / near-qualified accountant with strong experience in financial and management accounting Expertise across different Asian countries Strong IFRS accounting knowledge with hands-on experience in complex environments Advanced Excel skills and experience with BI tools; comfortable with large data sets and Excel-based reporting

Pay: RM9,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
