About the role

This role is a key leadership position within a large multi-functional shared service organization responsible for the application and delivery of Continuous Excellence(CE) Initiatives, to drive process innovation, service excellence and continuous improvement across the scope of our operations. It will play a key role in helping to foster a culture of sustainable change through the creation and embedding of LEAN methodology, and the supporting framework, to deliver ongoing business transformation. and contributing to talent development.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation and application of Continuous Excellence Initiatives and practices in the GBS Center in region
  • To identify and deliver service improvement activity across the business through employing Continuous Excellence methodologies and the application of innovative thinking
  • To support the delivery of better value and greater efficiency through the identification and elimination of unnecessary complexity within business processes and identification of better ways of working
  • To secure employee and leadership commitment for proactive continuous elimination of nonvalue in processes and ways of working
  • To Establish a clear and well-articulated implementation plan to ensure the successful application of continuous excellence in the region.
  • Implement CE training, coaching and assessment strategy and framework as developed by the Global CE lead.
  • Develop training, coaching and assessment plans according to the Region CE roll out plan.
  • Establishment of site CE pillar structure and pillar teams
  • Deliver appropriate training and coaching to transfer CE knowledge from all CE pillars to people at every level of our operations within region.
  • Together with the Regional GBS Leadership team, develop and deliver on the GBS Scorecard and drive Continuous Excellence application in the Center
  • Together with Data Enablement team ensure the utilisation of technology to continue to evolve CE practices and their application
  • Together with the Regional GBS Leadership Team, integrate risks management and controls in the Compliance pillar practices
  • To assist in the development and implementation of a \'best-in-class\' Continuous Excellence strategy
  • Perform regular CE assessment to ensure the correct application of methods, coaching and knowledge sharing.
  • To Coach and Support Improvement initiatives from evolution/efficiency identification through to delivery via internal governance and controls
  • Develop, coordinate of CE Foundations strategy for all centers and ensure together with region CE leads
the deployment and application of CE foundation pillars, Goal Alignment, learning & Leadership Development and compliance, and ensure readiness for future integration with advanced CE Initiatives Focused Improvement, Education & Training and Lean Office Pillars

Qualifications and skills

Bachelor\'s degree in Operations, Business & Administration, Engineering or Sciences or other relevant qualification
  • Good knowledge of Goal Alignment practices Operational Master Planning, Performance Measures, development of Operations Reviews, Problem solving and standard routines
  • Knowledge of the use of problem solving tools, 8 step problem solving, DMAIC, PDCA
  • Proficient in commonly used and specified software e.g. Microsoft suite, Power BI, Lucidchart
  • Experience in implementing Large scale lean initiatives within industry setting, Certifications - Six Sigma, Lean ,Agile desirable
  • Minimum 5-7 years significant Lean / Continuous Improvement delivery in a GBS organization, global or in a very large SSC, and/or have led extensive end-to-end sustainable process improvements in other industry with proven track record.
  • Successful experience in Change and Stakeholder Management and Process Management desired, knowledge of GBS environments and associated operational measures desired
