Job Description

As Supply Chain Excellence Lead, you will be reporting to Supply Chain Director, SEA, you will support to lead the supply chain excellence and improve inventory by using data talk approach. This role will be based in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.

Main Responsibilities

• To support SEA Supply Chain director with optimizing inventory levels, management of inventory health & complexity reduction projects by performing multiple analysis to convert data into direction, achieve report automation.
• To provide data analyst and reporting support for SEA supply chain leaders.
• To monitor the progress of supply chain cost reduction projects across SEA.
• To periodically review the supply chain processes and plan for improvement through digitalization.
• To contribute to regional strategy formulation and execution plans
• To promote the PPG Way to Lead culture at every level of the organization.
• To support SEA supply chain leadership team with reporting and data analyses. Primary focus is on inventory, Recoverable Asset, Magna Carta and SSPL.
• To lead completion of improvement actions with identified owners.
• To monitor, follow-up, escalate and report progress of Supply Chain improvement projects.
• To work with SEA supply chain leaders and customers to identify process improvement opportunities, propose system modifications and build tools to support supply chain strategies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of data analyses experience with exposure in working with matrixed organization and delivering quality results.
• Capability in partnering with customers at all levels.
• Business and commercial knowledge / competence.
• Knowledge of and experience from chemical / paint industry.
• Proficient command of English both in written and verbally.
• bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or above in engineering, Science or Business management.
• Knowledge of Oracle and SAP.
• Advanced skills of MS excel (can write advanced macros) and MS PowerBI.
