Job Description

The Regional EHS Lead will drive the development, implementation and continuous improvement of HSE strategy, governance, compliance and culture transformation across manufacturing and commercial operations in the region. This role requires strong leadership, the ability to influence at all levels and deep technical expertise in safety and environmental management.
Regional Leadership & Governance

  • Provide strategic direction and functional leadership for HSE across multiple countries.
  • Ensure alignment with global HSE frameworks and deployment of consistent standards and policies.
  • Coach and support site and country HSE teams to strengthen capability and performance.
Compliance & Risk Management
  • Ensure regional compliance with applicable regulations and corporate HSE standards.
  • Lead regional audits, inspections, risk assessments, and management reviews.
  • Drive improvement in incident prevention, root?cause analysis, and corrective action closure.
Operational Excellence & Safety Culture
  • Embed a proactive, behaviour?based safety culture across manufacturing and office environments.
  • Strengthen contractor safety management, machinery safety, permit?to?work systems, and high?risk activity governance.
  • Support major projects, expansions, and operational changes from an HSE standpoint.
Environmental & Sustainability Performance
  • Oversee environmental compliance including waste, water, emissions, and sustainability KPIs.
  • Support corporate sustainability and ESG initiatives across the region.
Crisis & Emergency Preparedness
  • Enhance crisis management, emergency response, and business continuity processes.
  • Provide leadership support during major incidents or regulatory interactions.
Regional exposureOpportunity to drive impact across diverse operations
A successful Regional EHS Lead should have:
  • A degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
  • 15 years of solid EHS experience in manufacturing, industrial, FMCG or pharmaceutical industry
  • Regional or multi-site experience is highly preferred
  • Experience in implementing and managing safety programs in engineering and manufacturing environments.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills to influence and guide teams effectively.
  • Proficiency in analyzing data and creating actionable safety strategies.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex safety challenges.
