Experienced Regional Engineering Director to lead engineering operations and strategic initiatives across our semiconductor manufacturing, laboratory, and data center portfolio. This senior leadership role will oversee critical infrastructure management and operational excellence for mission-critical facilities requiring the highest standards of reliability, precision, and performance.



Key Responsibilities



Strategic LeadershipDevelop and execute regional engineering strategy aligned with client objectives and JLL's portfolio goals



Lead cross-functional teams across multiple high-complexity facility types including semiconductor fabs, R&D laboratories, and data centers



Drive operational excellence initiatives to optimize facility performance, reduce downtime, and enhance reliability



Collaborate with clients and stakeholders on long-term capital planning and infrastructure roadmaps



Technical Operations ManagementOversee engineering operations for specialized systems including: Cleanroom HVAC and contamination control systemsProcess cooling and chilled water systemsElectrical distribution and UPS systemsChemical distribution and exhaust systemsBuilding automation and monitoring systems



Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO 14644, SEMI standards, ASHRAE guidelines)



Manage critical facility uptime requirements (99.9%+ availability)



Coordinate maintenance strategies for mission-critical infrastructure



Team Leadership & DevelopmentManage regional engineering teams including facility engineers, technicians, and project managers



Foster technical excellence and professional development within the organization



Establish performance metrics and accountability frameworks



Build strong client relationships and serve as primary engineering liaison



Qualifications



Education & CertificationBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering



Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred



Advanced degree (MBA/MS) preferred



Experience12+ years of engineering experience in mission-critical facilities



5+ years in leadership roles managing engineering teams



Demonstrated experience in semiconductor manufacturing, laboratory, or data center environments



Technical ExpertiseDeep knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and process systems for controlled environments



Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and requirements



Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and chemical handling systems



Knowledge of data center infrastructure and cooling technologies



Experience with building automation systems and IoT monitoring platforms
