RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, continuously improve and roll-out of the Fixed Assets processes in the global finance community
• Interface of the Center of Excellence into the region Asia
• Continuous global process improvements, e.g., gain in efficiency and quality
• Deployment of company-wide uniform Accounting and disclosure processes in line with IFRS for the Fixed Assets processes in the region Asia
• Project support in corporate projects with a special level of significance and complexity
• Analysis of relevant KPI's to steer and optimize the Fixed Assets processes on regional scale across various stakeholder (Shared Service Center, Global Process Owner, Business, etc.)
• Regional support in operational- and project-business for Fixed Assets departments in Evonik's Shared Service Centers and Local Financial Services
• Explore, drive, and implement automated and digital solutions/tools/projects for our Fixed Assets processes on a global basis

REQUIREMENTS

• Successfully completed degree in business administration, business informatics, business engineering or a comparable subject
• (preferable) 7 & above years of experience working in Accounting, controlling or finance
• High willingness to drive the digital Accounting revolution
• Fluent English skills, written and spoken
• Analytical and goal-oriented mindset
• Good conflict-solving, excellent communication, and team-working skills
• Ready to challenge the status-quo and to move forward with ideas/projects that will continue to change our Fixed Assets processes
