• Regional leadership role (Technology/Digital background)
• Remuneration will be aligned to level of seniority and experience

- Assume strategic leadership role in establishing and ensuring optimum capabilities of the data science department. supporting the group's business on a regional level

- Responsible for leading and overseeing staff members to ensure proper execution of duties and alignment with the business's overall vision

- Collaborate and advise senior business stakeholders and departmental heads across the region/group to provide advanced analytic data modelling systems

- Provide overall leadership and strategy in the development of big data capabilities as well as utilization - including coordination of cross-functional analytic initiatives

- Leveraging on resources within the group/region for building capabilities in data analytics, data warehousing, data engineering, data modelling, business insights and intelligence aimed at creating big data applications through the utilization of structured and unstructured data, designing optimal data architecture, and experimenting on new machine learning techniques and AI algorithms

- Minimum 15 years experience in Technology or Data Science / Analytics (compulsory)

- Minimum 5 years experience in a leadership/managerial capacity in leading Technology, Data Science or Analytics division

- Experience in establishing an effective and exemplary Data Science/Analytics team - this can include deputy role, and able to replicate the same success on a different scale/structure depending on the requirements of the organisation

- Strong business acumen and ability to understand business stakeholders' data needs, including provision of insights and intelligence on a macro, strategic, operational level.

- Flexibility to relocate / travel (regional role) as the team scales up/expands - with potential to build a global hub in local/other international locations
