As the top procurement leader for the region, you will drive innovation and entrepreneurship within commercial procurement. You will have full responsibility for Direct spending and ally with the regional shared services to manage the Indirect spend, maintaining a vital balance between short-term procurement needs and long-term supplier relationships.

As a key leader within the business, you will collaborate with regional and global functional leaders to strategize and drive future growth initiatives.

• Provide strategic direction and leadership across the regional procurement function, including building the team and engaging senior stakeholders.
• Hold responsibility for strategizing and implementing regional and local sourcing initiatives.
• Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers. Evaluate supplier performance, negotiate terms, and work to improve collaboration for mutual benefit.
• Monitor and control procurement costs within the region. Implement cost-saving initiatives, manage budgets, and optimize procurement processes to reduce expenses.
• Stay updated on market trends, supplier capabilities, and industry developments within the region. Use this knowledge to make informed procurement decisions
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the procurement team. Encourage innovation and best practices adoption..
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with local and international laws and regulations. Promote ethical sourcing practices and sustainability initiatives

Key transformation role with strong commercial growth potential.|Advise and direct senior leadership on a regional level.

• Experience leading direct AND/OR indirect procurement within a large multinational organization.
• Past experience in a senior leadership role (e.g. GM, Head, Director, VP etc), ideally with a regional remit.
• Proven record of commercial growth through effective strategy planning and execution.
• Commercially-minded in supplier management and negotiations.
• Firsthand experience in the Southeast Asian market, within the FMCG industry OR affiliated industries.
• Effective stakeholder management - able to drive and sustain initiatives across departments and hierarchies.
• Able and willing to travel domestically and internationally.
