• Manage BASF\'s real estate transactions and projects in Asia Pacific. Support Head of Real Estate and Facility Management APAC, including cost management and transparency.

Main Tasks

• Manage BASF\'s real estate transactions in Asia Pacific, including real estate contract negotiations for offices, production sites, and land. Consult and assist internal partners (including heads of business units, countries, and functions) in defining needs, requirements, and outcomes.
• Steer and supervise external partners including real estate consultants and cooperate with authorities.
• Perform office projects such as expansion and relocation in Asia Pacific, and advise on space planning and office fit-out per workspace framework and procedures.
• Manage and conduct real estate due diligence in major M&A and investment projects.
• Maintain and monitor database of market rent and comparables to support analysis on lease transaction
• Ensure the proper, complete and timely completion of all transactions and projects in accordance with applicable processes, guidelines, and governance standards.
• Provide professional property market analysis to support on lease transaction.
• Maintain close contacts to external real estate consultants in the region.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to the local real estate colleagues.
• Support Head of Real Estate and Facility Management APAC in his or her daily duties.
• Contribute to regional and global projects e.g. benchmarking, reporting, initiatives.
• Support functional cost management, including budgeting.

RequirementsEducation

• Masters Degree, preferably in Business or Real Estate

Working Experience & Skills

• 7 years plus, preferably in large multinational corporation and/or real estate brokerage, with experience across multiple countries. Experience in office workplace transformation preferred. Experience in Facilities Management / IFM and Industrial Real Estate is a plus
• Real estate relevant experience.
• Professional in MS Office.
• English, other Asian language (Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, Thai, etc.) a plus.
