An established and reputable leading MNC in the industrial sector is seeking a

Regional

Legal Counsel

to join its growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide strategic legal advice to management on business decisions, commercial risks, and regulatory matters. Identify, assess, and mitigate potential legal risks associated with business expansion, contracts, and operations. Ensure compliance with local and regional laws, industry standards, and corporate policies. Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements. Support new business acquisitions, joint ventures, and partnerships in Malaysia and across the region.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB). Minimum 7 years of experience in a corporate legal role or reputable law firm. Exposure to manufacturing, FMCG, or industrial sectors preferred. Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken). Proven experience in contract negotiation, corporate transactions, and regulatory compliance. Strong commercial mindset with the ability to balance business and legal priorities. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
