JOB SUMMARY
Increase qualified system integrator / system fabricator database for targeted segments. Follow up on sales leads, fast response towards fulfilling customers' enquires. Provide sound consultation on company's product solution and application. Secure new customers in MNC/SME industries by identifying their needs and engineering adaptations of products, equipment and services. Expand market awareness of company's products & services and manage projects and relationships with customers.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Provide 2nd/3rd level product and application support of Industrial Division products and related solutions focusing but not limited to Asia Pacific.
Coordinate, prepare and conduct product training and launches to our internal/external customers.
Develop training and product support material fit for global rollout.
Support in local sales/service activities for customers, such as seminars, webinars, product demonstrations and customer consulting.
Correspond with our global Strategic Product Groups to facilitate market intelligence, product development, quality improvements and testing.
Able to help our marketing organizations in the region to successfully achieve the sales and service of our products by enhancing their competencies and skills. Also resolve customer issues in a timely manner by learning and applying product functions, support tools, segment specified knowledge and regulatory compliance standards.
1. Technical Advisory and Product Advocate
Analyse training gaps and requirements for our sales/service force in the region.
Proactively organize and provide onsite, remote and classroom training to our sales/service personnel and sometimes customers in line with global training curriculum.
Develop and update training material (eg. Presentations, video, white papers) and provide local customizations.
To promote and recommend the necessary training programs to help develop the skills of our personnel.
Maintain our training and demo equipment Provide prompt and expert application and product support mainly for our Industrial Division solutions (hardware and software solutions) to sales and service organizations and VARS (partners).
Becoming a competent key technical advisor and product advocate for company's products
Communicate regulatory compliance requirement and applications effectively, demonstrating company's market leadership and expertise in the relevant fields.
Understand user requirements and recommending solutions.
Support in marketing activities, such as customer visits, seminars, exhibitions and in advanced product demonstrations.
2. Training

3. Product Management
Support the Strategic Product Groups (SPGs) in successfully launching and training new products to the region.
Support the development of certain technical/marketing materials such as FAQ, white paper or application notes/case studies and presentation materials.
Able to understand and feedback end customer's current and future requirements and needs.
Feedback competitor's offering when encountered in the marketplace.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Degree/Diploma in any discipline preferably in Electrical/ Electronics/Mechanical Engineering or related field
Strong presentation skills and trainer experience, with an influencing ability
Minimum 3 years working experience in a Technical Support, Trainer or Service Environment serving customers in the Manufacturing Industry including Food & Beverages, Chemical and Pharmaceutical
Firsthand understanding and experience of technical equipment, process and automation control systems.
Knowledge on MS SQL, C#, C++ with basic PC software and networking troubleshooting skills is an advantage
Knowledge on PLC Data communication protocol (fieldbus, TCP/IP, Analog & Digital output signals) is an advantage.
Knowledge on Automation and Control Instrumentation System (sensors, transmitters, weighing).
