Our client is a well-established, high-tech Chinese manufacturer founded in 2005, specializing in the production of disposable non-woven medical products (surgical PPE), including surgical gowns, drapes, packs, and related items.

Our client aspires to establish a dynamic and intelligent sales team, both locally and internationally, with a working office based in Malaysia.

Position: Regional Sales Manager

Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Sales Manager to join the team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and driving sales activities within a designated region, developing and maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring the continued growth of our market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve regional sales targets and objectives.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.
2. Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and healthcare professionals.
  • Contact potential customers at corporate hospitals, clinics, doctors\' offices and government institutions.
  • Arrange appointments as well as build relationships with hospitals\' Purchasing representatives.
  • Provide excellent customer service and address client inquiries and concerns promptly.
  • Perform product demonstrations.
  • Visit existing and potential clients to offer products/services and to elaborate on product features
  • Contact customers via cold calls, emails, and arranged meetings to secure sales deals and contract
3. Market Expansion:
  • Identify and explore new business opportunities within the region to expand market share.
  • Evaluate potential partnerships and collaborations to strengthen the company\'s position in the market.
  • Account relationship development and business development of all products.
  • Carry out research to identify new sales opportunities.
4. Sales Performance Analysis:
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of sales strategies.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales activities, market trends, and competitor activities.
  • Provide competitive information such as bid situations, pricing data, product specifics.
  • Present periodic reports to company directors on sales operation.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Proficiency in both Chinese and English. * Strong computer skills with specific skills in Microsoft Office: Power point, Excel, and Word.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in senior sales role of medical instruments/consumables.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel within the designated region as required.
  • Willing to attend professional / products training in China.
