Technical Engineer Job Scope (Operation & RSE)

Continuously monitor network performance, including bandwidth usage,

latency, and other key metrics.

Utilize network monitoring tools to identify and address potential issues

proactively.

Conduct routine maintenance tasks to ensure the overall health and stability of

the network.

Perform software updates, patches, and system upgrades as needed.

Implement changes and updates to configurations as required.

Investigate and troubleshoot network issues reported by users or identified

through monitoring systems as per SLA.

Analyse and resolve connectivity, performance, and security issues.

Evaluate network capacity and plan for future scalability based on current and

projected needs.

Recommend upgrades or improvements to meet capacity requirements.

Comply with comprehensive documentation of network as per project

deliverable.

Keep asset, tools and documentation up-to-date.

Collaborate on cross-functional projects and initiatives.

Be part of the incident response team, responding promptly to network outages

or disruptions.

Follow established protocols for incident resolution.

Identify opportunities for optimizing network performance.

Implement improvements to enhance speed, reliability, and efficiency.

Provide training to end-users and support staff on network-related issues and

best practices.

Develop training materials and documentation.

Coordinate with vendors/subcon for technical support and issue resolution.

Manage relationships with technology suppliers.

Be available for on-call duty to address critical network issues outside regular

working hours.

Respond promptly to emergency situations affecting the network.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices

in networking.

Comply with company rules & policy.
