Regional Training Manager

Job Description




Our client is a reputable MNC in the manufacturing (building materials) industry. In order to support the company\'s rapid growth, our client is looking for a talented and dynamic professional to join them as the Regional Training Specialist, Asia.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for end-to-end delivery and operations of L&D programs for Asia including working with providers, scheduling training, communication with HR partners, managers and program participants and managing program logistics.
  • Support the company in implementation of existing training concepts and optimizing these according to local needs.
  • Identify learning needs from Performance Development Plan (PDP) and input from business units to structure the support of effective learning and promote continuous competency development.
  • Coach, guide, support and challenge stakeholders (site HR, Country and Local HR partners and managers) on all relevant L&D aspects.
  • Ensures available L&D process/deliverables to enhance the competency & skills required to grow the businesses in Asoa.
  • Consolidate L&D budget and learning plan based on company-wide/business units training needs analysis.
  • Support business units and company to break strategy into L&D, KPIs and deliverables - e.g. how to turn investment in training into business growth
  • Contribute to and implement Group guidelines and global processes, provides instant feedback to Group HR on regional L&D trends, limitations, possible solutions and courses of action.
  • Contribute to design and maturing the Company\'s Learning platform at Group level - and regional implementation and maintenance support.
  • Develop and maintain Training catalogue - research, select and manage preferred providers.
Job Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree in Human Resources or equivalent.
  • 5+ years in Regional L&D positions from Manufacturing background will be an added advantage.
  • Successful track record of facilitating, coaching, designing, building and evaluating L&D agenda in large international organizations.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia. Fluency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
  • Proactive, result and future oriented, strong communication skills.
  • Independent but also a team-player with impact and ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Able to travel about 20% of time to operating companies in Singapore, Japan, Thailand, China and India.
