To screen, check and dispense medication with appropriate counseling based on prescriptions and ward requisitions.
To compound preparations according to prescriptions \xe2\x80\x93 pours, weights, or measures dosages and grinds, heats, filters, or dissolves and mixes liquid or soluble drugs and chemicals.
To counsel patients on medication including potential drug interactions and side effects. Review patient medication history for allergies and drug interactions.
To answer all queries from healthcare personnel and patients on matters related pharmaceutical items and pharmacy operational processes.
Responsible for formulating of all administrative decisions relating to the provision of pharmaceutical services and the use of drugs.
Responsible for planning activities of the Pharmacy Department and personnel activities.
Involves in appointment and assignment of staff.
Involves in planning, management and justification of the service budget and resources.
Implement policies and standards of practice in pharmacy
Maintain pharmacy personnel records regarding leave, sickness etc.
Ensure inventory audits are carried out at regular interval
Maintain proper documentation of all records.
Liaise closely other departmental personnel to ensure the delivery of quality service.
Provision of 24 hours consultation services to wards and units.
To purchase and manage drug inventory. Keep track of vendors, items and prices. Update stock prices when necessary.
To setup and implement new services.
To provide continuous trainings to all pharmacy staff.
To perform other duties as assigned by management from time to time.
Job Requirements
Bachelors in Pharmacy
Registered Pharmacist
Preferably Good communication and organizational skills.
Good interpersonal skill.
Preferably 2 years working experience in relevant field.
