Position overview

Are you an energetic professional with skills and growing proficiency in chemical industry regulatory compliance? As a Regulatory Compliance Associate, you will support the product regulatory compliance for allnex within the region. You will also be participating with project teams to develop allnex PSRA processes and systems.

If you are someone who is detailed-oriented and analytical, as well as interested in gaining broader exposure to the knowledge of Chemical Control & Hazard Communications Laws & Regulations, we would love to speak with you.

Responsibilities
-Assess the compliance of allnex products with Regional regulations and requirements to answer internal and external customer inquiries, with assistance of the Regional Manager for more difficult topics such as food contact.
-Prepare and submit notifications or registration dossiers to the authorities to enable the compliant marketing of allnex products in the Region.
-Support all coatings Business Units by responding to internal and external customer inquiries.
-Assess the impact of new Regional regulations on our business and provide input to PSRA management.
-Participate in project teams for setting up new processes and tools enabling us to comply with new regulations.
-Manage the gatekeeper and other blocking processes to release orders on regulatory hold while ensuring regulatory compliance.
-Develop PSRA processes and systems ensuring compliance with new and existing Regional regulations.
-Coordinate with local Plant, R&D, or TS&D Product Stewards to ensure that product information from the site within the EU has been properly documented in the WERCS database system by respective Product Stewards.
-Work closely with the Global Hazard Communication team to ensure that all required HazCom documents for products are compliant with current Regional regulations.

Required skills and experience
-Minimum 1 year of experience in the similar or related field.
-Proven experience in Local or Overseas chemical regulations.
-A sound grounding in organic chemistry or polymer chemistry is preferred.
-Knowledge of internal resources and personnel.
-Good listening and communication skills.
-Strong ability to accept responsibility and make sound business discussions.
-Ability to work independently and strong team spirit.
-Detailed-oriented in work with minimum supervision.
-Proficiency in spoken and written English is essential.
-Familiar with Microsoft Office, Word Excel, and PowerPoint.
-Ability to organize, multi-task, and prioritize daily work and exhibit time-management skills.

Qualifications
-Bachelor\'s Degree in Chemistry is preferred.
