Job Title: Reporting Finance Analyst

Location: Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur

Salary: RM 6,000 - RM 7,000

Essential Responsibilities:

Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with internal control procedures and regulatory requirements. Reconcile financial reports across different systems, investigate root causes of discrepancies, and implement corrective actions. Post manual journal entries and prepare assigned accounts in accordance with approved account write-ups. Perform monthly/quarterly analysis of key account components and movements. Support treasury team in analyzing foreign currency exposure and assist in hedging decisions. Track and complete assigned tasks related to broader functions in GFO. Contribute to process simplification and operational excellence within the Global Finance Organization. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support centralized financial functions and reporting activities. Execute additional closing and reporting tasks as assigned by the team lead.

Essential Requirements of the role (Experience / Skills / Competencies):

Years of experience: 3-5 years Field of experience: Finance / Accounting Technical Skills: Financial analysis & reporting, Accounting Standards knowledge (IFRS / GAAP) Tools or Software (Required): SAP or Oracle, Excel, HFM Education Qualifications: Bachelors in accounting, Finance, or equivalent. Industry Background or Experience (Required): Finance, Shared services

Desirable attributes of the worker (Experience / Skills / Competencies):

Have good interpersonal and communication skills. ACCA/CPA/ CIMA professional qualification will be an added advantage. Able to use Data Visualization Tools - Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools for presenting financial data.
