Overview
Reporting & Insights Excellence Consultant will be working in partnership with senior Business Partners to develop integrated strategic insights to enable Shell to achieve its People ambitions and Power Progress through advanced digital solutions. This is great opportunity for someone who would like to be part of an evolutionary change in developing data and insights tool, building reporting standard process framework and innovation of reporting digitalization. The person will be exposed to all major People related projects in Shell and advanced digital solutions supporting data and reporting.

Our HR and OD&L Community need strong expert in People Insights to develop integrated and interactive reporting and dashboard to enable them to deliver a range of people strategy or strategic projects. The needs of our businesses will mean we need to have a strong understanding of business problem and be able to translate business needs into insights.
The role scope includes designing and developing Reporting & Insights Excellence for HR process owners through conducting needs analysis, shaping key metrics/KPI needs and desired outcomes, and driving for continuous improvement and innovation through reporting technologies and solutions.
As part of the growing demand on insights driven people decision making in HR, this role is to manage the transition into integrated, self-service and strategic reporting landscape by utilizing Shell DIY tooling (Power BI, Alteryx, Power Apps) and other IT solutions for reporting. The primary focus would be driving change behavior from manual/ad-hoc reporting into integrated business insights and ability to translate business requirement through reporting technologies.
What is the role?
Manage strategic and tactical integrated reporting/dashboard projects in partnership with Process Owner, People Insights Operation and IT to meet evolving business needs.
Lead end to end integrated reporting/dashboard projects including managing project delivery progress and engagement with senior stakeholders (ie. Steering Committee, HR VP, Process Owner, Information Compliance).
Influences stakeholders in adopting analyses, automation / outcomes and effectively partner across multiple stakeholder groups at all levels.
Produce integrated reporting/dashboard user focused and ability to be interactive for multi-disciplinary.
Implement automation initiatives, integration of analytics in HR MI (e.g., complex algorithms), integration of non-HR data in MI (e.g., business KPIs)
Partner with Product Owner People Insights, IT and Digital HR in emerging/implementing reporting technologies, automation, and data platforms.
Actively partner with People Insights Operations for continuous improvement in transitioning manual reporting into automated reporting.
Translate findings into succinct, actionable business insights, often in coordination with Process Owner.
Subject matter expert in applying a breadth of reporting and analytical tools, models and techniques to answer a wide range of high-impact people-related business questions

Resilient and able to work under pressure to tight and concurrent deadlines
You are curious about innovations and change in the field of MI and have experience in applying new approaches.
Able to adopt virtual working environment through different time zones.
Adherence to Group policies, audit, controls, and compliance requirements including but not limited to Declaration of secrecy, data protection act, health, safety and security, clear desk policy.
