Job Description

1. Product/Project Development

Responsible for the design, development, and improvement of new products, ensuring alignment with market demands and company positioning. Conduct research and experiments on materials, structures, and functionalities. Develop product prototypes and carry out testing and optimization according to R&D plans.

2. Technical Research & Innovation

Continuously monitor industry trends, technological advancements, and competitor products. Explore the potential applications of new materials, processes, and technologies. Provide innovative solutions to enhance product performance or reduce costs.

3. Testing & Validation

Develop and implement product testing plans, including functionality, durability, and safety tests. Analyze test results, propose improvements, and implement optimizations. Ensure products comply with relevant regulations, standards, and certification requirements.

4. Cross-Department Collaboration

Communicate with the marketing team to gather customer needs and feedback, translating them into R&D directions. Collaborate with the production team to ensure smooth transition from development to mass production. Provide technical support to sales and after-sales teams.

5. Documentation & Intellectual Property

Prepare R&D documents, including technical specifications, test reports, and development summaries. Assist in intellectual property applications (patents, designs, trademarks, etc.). Establish and maintain an R&D documentation archive.

6. Project Management

Develop R&D project plans, schedules, and milestones. Monitor project progress to ensure timely and quality completion. Manage R&D costs and resource allocation.

Pay: RM3,453.33 - RM5,335.88 per month
