JOB DESCRIPTON FOR RESEARCH EXECUTIVE (RELIEF)

1. Monitor news on developments in the State of Johor and Malaysia

\xc2\xb7 Monitor news from key vernacular papers and highlight key political, economic and security developments.

\xc2\xb7 Track and bring to officers\' attention significant/breaking news such as reports on the death of prominent local personalities, visits by foreign dignitaries and important policy announcements.

\xc2\xb7 File news reports and articles from all sources

\xc2\xb7 Translate news reports and articles in the press, circulars and letters sent to JB Mission by government agencies in Malaysia and the public

\xc2\xb7 Articles on key local personalities (with relevant inputs to be incorporated into the CVs)

\xc2\xb7 To email important press clippings and articles to HQ and supervising Mission as advised by officers

2. Assist officers to collate a database of relevant political and economic information about the State and the following:

3. Maintain the Mission\'s Library. Keep stock of up-to-date publications, magazines, government directories and other literature.

4. Any other duties that may be assigned by officers.
