The Role

  • Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail.
  • Convert, quickly, inquiries into contracted business.
  • Identify guest reservation needs, determine appropriate room type, and verify availability of room type and rate.
  • Explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies to callers.
  • Accommodate and document special requests.
  • Answer questions about property facilities/services and room accommodations.
  • Follow sales techniques to maximize revenue.
  • Communicate information regarding designated VIP reservations.
  • Input and access data in reservation system.
  • Respond to any challenges found for accommodating rooming requests by communicating with appropriate individual or department.
  • Oversee accuracy of room blocks and reservations.
  • Any other tasks and duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Talent Profile
  • 1 to 2 years of work experiences in similar capacity of 4 or 5 star Hotel/Resort property.
  • Proficient in verbal and written English and Bahasa. Other languages is preferred for the role.
  • A passion for delivering great customer service.
  • Highly professional telephone manner and excellent communication skills.
  • Outstanding administration and organizational skills.
  • Intermediate computer proficiency.
  • Able to work on various shift hours, including on weekends and public holidays.
