1. Management & motivation of staff members in the resort.
2. To maintain a high profile presence within the resort & to have regular positive contacts with guest throughout their stay.
3. Maintains professional & cordial relations with Government bodies, Travel agencies, Hotels, all relevant bodies & owners to gain an in-depth knowledge of the market situation.
4. Conducts inspection of rooms/lodges together with Housekeeping Manager at least 5 rooms a day.
5. Coordinates & plan with Housekeeping Manager & Maintenance Manager on repairs, defects & preventive maintenance in any of the rooms/lodges.
6. Personally welcomes all VIP's to the resort & personally ensuring that their needs are fulfilled.
7. Reviewing comment cards, guest satisfaction results and other data to identify areas of improvement. Reviewing findings from comment cards and guest satisfaction results with Head of Department and ensures appropriate corrective action is taken.
8. Manage Resorts profitability & cost management practices.
9. Uphold company's objectives & Core Values by leading by example.
10. Ensuring that our guests are receiving the highest standards of service.
11. All Resorts product & equipment are well maintained.
12. To ensure a continuous flow of training for all level of staff in the Resort.
13. Participates in all Environmental initiatives and Environmental Committee (SHE)
14. Monitoring all departments' expenses to ensure monthly cost does not exceed budget.
15. Assisting guests with all their requirements, challenges & difficulties & ensuring all guests issues are dealt with fully & promptly.
16. Monitors purchasing practices to ensure compliance with Policy & Procedures.
17. Monitors cleaning standards in accordance with guidelines set.
18. Conducting Daily Briefings / Preventive Maintenance meetings with Department Heads.
19. Carrying out disciplinary procedures when necessary.
20. Completing Daily Reports to the Assistant General Manager/General Manager
21. Actively conducts routine inspection of all areas within the resort.
22. To promote teamwork to ensure awareness, trust & effective contribution from all Department Heads & staff.
23. Ensures emergency procedures are practiced & enforced to provide for the security & safety of guests & employees.
24. Monitors applicable laws & regulations including Health & Safety & ensures full compliance.
25. Reviews energy conservation practices to ensure minimum energy & utilities consumption without sacrificing human comfort.
26. To perform all other duties than the above requested by the Hotel's Management, the Company and/or his/her direct superior.
